Pilot Construction Solutions Founder

Nick was born and raised in Cairo, Illinois, which is where the name Pilot Construction Solutions originated from (the Cairo Pilots).  He came up with the idea of starting an Owner’s Rep company in Southeast Missouri after continually hearing stories from local developers and business owners that needed assistance managing projects, help finding the right architect and contractor for their needs, and overall management of budget and schedule on commercial projects, so he took a leap and opened the doors to Pilot Construction Solutions in October 2022.  

Nick has spent the majority of his career working on the Owner’s side in Healthcare and K-12, with over $1B of experience in Healthcare and over $350M in K-12, but has worked in just about every other market as well.  Nick also serves on the Cape Girardeau Planning & Zoning Commission, has been involved in the implementation of the Transportation Trust Fund (TTF) 7 initiative in Cape, an Adjunct Professor at Southeast Missouri State University, member of the Cape Noon Lions Club and St. Vincent Catholic Church Men’s Society.  

Outside of work Nick enjoys traveling with his wife Christa, coaching baseball/soccer, hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his four children (Beck, Emilia, Wyatt, Maggie).  Nick went to high school at Notre Dame in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and followed that by attending Southeast Missouri State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management & Design, and a Masters Degree in Organizational Management.
